Privacy Policy

VNYC respects your privacy. This document explains how we collect and handle data.

1. Scope

This policy covers the vnyc.io website and the VNYC app (Beta expected Q3 2026). VNYC is pre-launch; this policy will be updated before the app goes live.

2. Data we collect

  • Contact details you provide (email for early access, name, phone).
  • Anonymised website usage data (pages viewed, device, language).
  • On app launch: account and booking information needed to deliver the service.

3. How we use it

  • To send the launch notification and updates you signed up for.
  • To operate, improve and secure the platform.
  • To provide support and contact you when needed.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell personal data. Data is shared only with service partners required to deliver the service (e.g. the digital payment partner) on a minimal basis, or where required by law.

5. Security & retention

Data is encrypted to digital-finance standards and retained only as long as needed for the stated purposes.

8. Legal basis & Data Controller

We collect and process your personal data in accordance with Decree 13/2023/ND-CP on Personal Data Protection and applicable Vietnamese law. Data Controller: Vietnam Yacht Cruise Holding JSC — Tax code 0402320306, head office at 179 Tran Hung Dao, An Hai Ward, Da Nang City, Vietnam. Our legal bases are: your consent, performance of the contract/service you request, and our legal obligations.

9. Retention period

Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary for the stated purposes, or as required by law. After that, data is deleted or anonymized. You may request earlier deletion (see Your rights).

10. Sharing & transfer to third parties

We share data only when necessary with: payment service partners, the technology infrastructure of Linh Nam Group (api.linhnam.vn), and state authorities where required by law. Where data is transferred or processed outside Vietnam, we comply with the cross-border transfer rules and prepare an impact-assessment dossier under Decree 13/2023/ND-CP. We do not sell your personal data.

11. Rights of the data subject

Under Article 9 of Decree 13/2023/ND-CP, you have the rights to:

  • be informed about the processing;
  • give or withhold consent;
  • access, view and rectify your data;
  • withdraw consent at any time;
  • delete or request deletion of your data;
  • restrict or object to processing;
  • request provision of your data;
  • complain, denounce, litigate and claim compensation as provided by law.

12. Withdrawing consent & Complaints

You can withdraw consent or exercise the above rights by emailing privacy@vnyc.io. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand. You also have the right to complain to the competent authority under personal-data-protection law.
